RAFTING IN BALI

SURFING AT NIAS ISLAND

Nias is an internationally famous surfing destination. The best known surfing area is Sorake Bay, close to the town of Teluk Dalam, on the southern tip. Enclosed by the beaches of Lagundri and Sorake, the bay has both left and right-hand breaks. As they wait for waves, surfers can often see sea turtles swimming below. There are also two consistent, world-class waves in the nearby Hinako Islands, Asu and Bawa. Many lesser-known, high-quality surf spots with low crowds await adventurous travelers.
Some claim that the waves at the southern beach of Sorake are better than the ones in Maui.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 : Meet & greet on arrival in Polonia airport of Medan, transfer to Hotel, check-in and free program.
Day 2 : Morning transfer to airport for a flight to Nias. Upon arrival in Binaka airport in Gunungsitoli-Nias, overland transfer direct to Sorake Beach in Lagundri Bay. Check-in Losmen in Sorake Beach area, facing the bay and the surf. Begin the first surf session!
Day 3 : Surf hard
Day 4 : Surf harder
Day 5 : Get more barrels
Day 6 : Do not drop-in the locals !
Day 7 : Goin’off !
Day 8 : Get a long with local surfers
Day 9 : Last day, so surf ‘till dark
Day 10 : Early AM transfer to airport. Fly out to Medan. Our ground handling officer will provide assistance to transit terminal and check-in for next destination.

DAY 02 : SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR – BRASTAGI (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, by motorboat cruise at Toba Lake visiting Tomok Village to see the Old Grave Stone of King Sidabutar. Back to Parapat and Proceed to Brastagi in Karo Highland. Enroute visit the Ancient’s King Palace of Simalungun at Pematang Purba. Then stop over at the slender Sipiso piso waterfall that will amaze you with it’s magnificent view which plunge into Toba Lake from hundred meters height. Arrival at Brastagi, a visit to traditional fruit market. If time permit, you can also view two still active volcanoes from Gundaling Hill.
